      • URGENT - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR CHRISTMAS DAY PATROL - The Club does not roster a patrol group on Christmas Day therefore we are calling for proficient members to volunteer on the day - even if it is a couple of hours. If you can help, please contact Club Captain Calan Lovitt via clubcaptain@pointlookoutslsc.com.au. The Club will be putting on a special Christmas Lunch for any member who volunteers on Christmas day - please let Peter Burke know if you will be in attendance for Lunch by texting/calling him on 0419 727 983.

    ROLLING CALENDAR

    • UPDATE - MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING - Tuesday 12 December 2017 - has been cancelled.  The Executive Committee will meet instead - starting at 7:00pm @ Redlands Sporting Club.
    • UPDATE - SKILLS MAINTENANCE (Proficiencies) - the next Skills Maintenance (proficiency) will be held on Sunday 10 December 2017 starting at 10am.  FREE Skin checks will be available on the day as well.  If you are attending, check out the Training page for information on what you need to complete prior to attending the day.  This will be the last Skills Maintenance day for the season. If you can't make this date, please contact Don Stevenson (Dir of Training) training@pointlookoutslsc.com.au.

      • AMART ALL SPORTS - COMMUNITY KICKBACK PROGRAM - just a reminder that if you buy anything from AMART ALL SPORTS, please let them know you would like the purchase linked with Point Lookout Surf Life Saving Club. As a result - approximately 5% of your purchase will be credited to our Club account which we can use to purchase equipment for the Club. Thank you in advance.

    • PAYMENTS PAGE - we have created a new Payments page on our Club website to make it easier to make payments online to the Surf Club. It is the same Online Payment gateway as found in the SLSA Members Area website however you don't need any usernames or passwords to access this online payment option. - CLICK HERE to access this page.


    Patrol Messages

    • CALENDAR COMPETITION - Attn: ALL Patrolling Members - an important email has been sent to all members on the patrol roster. Please check your emails and read the email about the Calendar Competition. Alternatively a brief message summarising the email has been posted in the Clubs' Patrols facebook group - click on the link below to access this facebook group.

    • UPDATED 8/12/17 - PATROL ROSTER - Version 5.0 has now been released. An email has been sent to all members & a post has been added in the PATROLS Facebook group, both with a copy of the roster WITH PHONE NUMBERS. If you are not listed on the roster and have renewed and paid for an ACTIVE Membership category, OR would like to go on the roster, please contact Dave Westby on 0428 960 130. IMPORTANT: NO SKELETON patrols on Sundays this season - ALL members in last patrol on Sundays are now required to stay for the full patrol.   CLICK HERE to view the Patrol Roster.

    • NIPPER SIGNON 2017/18 - We have received such a large influx of new nippers wanting to join our program that we unfortunately have had to close our books for this season. If you are interested, we do have a waiting list - please send an email to admin@pointlookoutslsc.com.au

    • ANNUAL POOL SWIM EVALUATION - if your child has not completed their annual pool swim evaluation for the 2017/18 season, you will need to take your child to an accredited swim coach to complete this test. Download form 006 from the Nippers web page and take it with you to get signed off by the coach.


    Education Messages

      • SKILLS MAINTENANCE (Proficiencies)> - If you were not able to attend the Skills Maintenance days on 9 & 10 September, the next AND LAST, day will be held on Sunday 10 December 2017 (starting at 9am). If you cannot make this date, you will need to attend a Skills Maintenance day at another Surf Club - contact Don Stevenson (Dir of Lifesaving) if this is the case for you via email training@pointlookoutslsc.com.au. NOTE: YOU CANNOT JUST ROCK UP TO ANOTHER CLUB - THERE IS ADMINISTRATION REQUIRED. Check out the TRAINING page for instructions on how to complete the online theory paper before attending any proficiency days.
