PAYMENTS How to make a payment to the Club


Our preferred method of receiving payment is via the SLSA Online Payment Gateway, using a Debit/Credit card, as the Club is automatically notified of your payment & you receive an automatic email confirming your payment.

Point Lookout SLSC relies considerably upon donations from the public and businesses for our Surf Club to provide the voluntary surf lifesaving services to the community and visitors of North Stradbroke Island. Our Surf Club does not have poker machines or an operating restaurant like other Surf Clubs in South East Queensland.

You can make a donation via our Online Payment option below OR if you would prefer to donate via Electronic Transfer, send an email to and we will email you our bank account details.

We also offer Sponsorship Packages to businesses that would like to be affiliated with an iconic community organisation. Contact us for more information on what opportunities are available.

Instructions for using SLSA Online Payment Gateway

STEP 1 of 4 - Enter payment details screen

  • In the 'Select the entity to pay:' field - start typing Point Lookout SLSC and select our Club name from the dropdown list.
  • Choose your Transaction Type from the drop down list.
  •    - Note: Nipper Parents - Choose 'Other' as Transaction Type for when you pay Beach Fees.
  • Provide as much detail as possible in Complete name/Meaningful payment details
  •    - Family membership payments - enter ALL family names in FULL in one line
  • Enter amount to pay in the Amount column
  • Enter your personal details at the bottom including your mobile phone number in the Your contact details: field and click the Submit button

STEP 2 of 4 - Enter credit card details - enter your Credit/Debit card details on the next screen and click Submit button.

STEP 3 of 4 - Payment Confirmation - check all details are correct and click Submit button.

A receipt will be emailed to you and the Club will automatically be notified of your payment.

Frequently Asked Questions about Membership

Q1. How do I know what Membership Fee to pay?

For existing members - Find Your Membership Category 

  • Log onto the SLSA Members Area
  • Click on Memberships
  • Look for 'Membership Category' under Point Lookout (Club name is in a Blue Banner)
  • Click link for 'Membership Categories and Fees' document under 'Important File Links' heading.

For Junior Activities Families - Your family fee is largely dependant upon the membership category of the Parents.

  • Log onto the SLSA Members Area
  • Click on 'My Family' to view membership category of all family members - if you have created a Family Group. Contact Administrator if you haven't created a Family group.
  • Calculate the fee using the Family Memberships table at the bottom of the 'Membership Categories & Fees' document under 'Important File Links' heading.

For NEW Junior Activities Families

  • Generally all new Families will be $295 for a 2 Parent Family membership OR $175 for a Single Parent Family membership
  • Even if one parent may only come over once or twice during nippers, you still need to join up as a 2 Parent Family membership
  • If one or both parents have been a patrolling member of a Surf Club in the past, please contact the Club Administrator to find out how much your family membership fee will be at
