New Member - Nippers

New Member - Senior Club

You can join our Club by completing an Online Membership form. CLICK HERE to join.

Membership RENEWAL is due by 31st AUGUST 2019.

• You are covered by Insurance enabling you to travel in Club vehicles, stay at the Clubhouse and participate in Club activities.

• You can receive your Membership Card for barge/water taxi discounts

• You can attend proficiency scheduled for 14 & 15 September


How to Renew Membership

A letter has been posted to ALL members stating the Membership Fee that needs to be paid for the 2018/19 season based on your Membership Category as listed in the letter. IMPORTANT: if you need to change your Membership Category, the Membership Fee will also change - contact Club Administrator on 0428 771 377 to discuss.

NIPPERS: When paying for membership, please ensure you record the INVOICE NUMBER as listed on the letter posted to you in the Payment Details/Reference section of your payment.

Blue Card Information

It is a Surf Life Saving Queensland, and therefore a Point Lookout SLSC, requirement for all members over the age of 18 years old who hold an official position with the Club i.e. Office Bearer, Patrolling Member, Coach, Chaperone, Water Safety, etc to hold a current and valid Blue Card.

Your Membership Application or Renewal will only be approved if we have evidence of you holding a valid and current Blue Card OR we are in receipt of your Working with Children Check Blue Card Application (which is subsequently approved).

If you already hold a Blue Card gained through another organisation, or are exempt from having to hold a Blue Card i.e. Teacher, Police Officer, etc - please contact our Club Administrator, Natalie May, via email at as there are different forms for you to complete.

Q1. How do I know what Membership Fee to pay?

To Find Your Membership Category 

- Log onto the SLSA Members Area

- Click on Memberships

- Look for 'Membership Category' under Point Lookout (Club name is in a Blue Banner)

- Click link for Membership Fee structure found above.

For Junior Activities Families - Your family fee is largely dependant upon the membership category of the Parents.

- Log onto the SLSA Members Area

- Click on 'My Family' to view membership category of all family members. (If you have created a Family Group - contact Administrator if you haven't created a Family group).

- Calculate the fee using the Family Memberships table at the bottom of the Membership Fees document - link found above.
