MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS (existing members)

    • IMPORTANT: The SLSA Members Area (formerly known as Members Portal) is NOW OPERATIONAL. You can access the SLSA Members Area via the link found under Important File Links below.

    • Thank you to all members for your patience with the Membership Renewal process this year considering the IT issues experienced by SLSA.
    • We have asked members to renew by Thursday 31 August 2017 however completely understand if this wasn't possible due to the issues being experienced this year. We ask if you can renew at your earliest convenience and preferably by Sunday 3 September 2017.
    • Attn: Members who have renewed online - we will be processing these memberships over the coming days. We will send an email on Monday 4 September to those members that have renewed successfully.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS NOW DUE FOR 2017/18 SEASON

Membership RENEWAL is due by 31st AUGUST 2017.

This is to ensure that membership is completed for the beginning of the season, Saturday 16th September. Memberships need to be renewed prior to 31st August each year to ensure:

• You are covered by Insurance enabling you to travel in Club vehicles, stay at the Clubhouse and participate in Club activities.

• You can receive your Membership Card for barge/water taxi discounts

• You can attend proficiency scheduled for 9 & 10 September

Blue Card Information

It is a Surf Life Saving Queensland, and therefore a Point Lookout SLSC, requirement for all members over the age of 18 years old who hold an official position with the Club i.e. Office Bearer, Patrolling Member, Coach, Chaperone, Water Safety, etc to hold a current and valid Blue Card.

Your Membership Application or Renewal will only be approved if we have evidence of you holding a valid and current Blue Card OR we are in receipt of your Working with Children Check Blue Card Application (which is subsequently approved).

If you already hold a Blue Card gained through another organisation, or are exempt from having to hold a Blue Card i.e. Teacher, Police Officer, etc - please contact our Club Administrator, Ben Whibley, via email at admin@pointlookoutslsc.com.au as there are different forms for you to complete.

Frequently Asked Questions about Membership

Q1. How do I know what Membership Fee to pay?

To Find Your Membership Category 

- Log onto the SLSA Members Area

- Click on Memberships

- Look for 'Membership Category' under Point Lookout (Club name is in a Blue Banner)

- Click link for Membership Fee structure found above.


For Junior Activities Families - Your family fee is largely dependant upon the membership category of the Parents.

- Log onto the SLSA Members Area

- Click on 'My Family' to view membership category of all family members. (If you have created a Family Group - contact Administrator if you haven't created a Family group).

- Calculate the fee using the Family Memberships table at the bottom of the Membership Fees document - link found above.
